Pop Tabs Collection
Early Learning service learning project.
Early Learning students are collecting pop tabs this year for Ronald McDonald House of Jacksonville—their annual service-learning project.
Collection containers are in every Pre-K through third-grade classroom, with extra bins in the fourth- and fifth-grade hallways and the faculty lounge. Tabs from beverage cans or food cans are both welcome.
In the spring, Ronald McDonald House will collect the tabs and recycle them. The proceeds help fund lodging, transportation, and other support for families whose children are receiving medical care in Jacksonville.
Save the tabs. Drop them in a bin. A small piece of aluminum adds up.
