Summer Learning

As educators, we want to ensure our students do not experience the "Summer Slide". The research is clear that children who don't practice literacy and math skills over the summer can lose up to three months of progress.

We know Shark families appreciate a balance between reviewing academic material and summer freedom, so we have created a well-rounded learning experience. Our Sharks have reading, writing, and math review work. They also have creative and fun suggestions for activities to help our families reconnect during the summer season.

We celebrate our accomplishments from the summer when we return to campus in August with a school-wide Summer Learning Celebration!
