Mini-Moments
Join Us for Mini-Moments
We are excited to welcome you to our campus for our very successful Mini-Moment events! This program, which was started more than 10 years ago, is a wonderful way for you and your family to become familiar with our teachers, programs, and campus.
All students registering must be age-eligible for our Pre-K 3 or Pre-K 4 program. They must be 3 or 4 years of age by September 1, 2026.

Registration is limited to two classes per family. (Waitlists are available.)
An adult caregiver must accompany each child.
Programs for Children Aged 2 & 3
Each program begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 10:00 a.m.

Music Makers
Does your child march to the beat of his own drum? Come spend time with our Music Specialist while we sing, dance, and explore instruments! Research shows that early exposure to music supports cognitive, emotional, and motor development - all of which will be explored during this introduction to music and movement.

Registration for these events will open mid-August, 2025.
Your canvas awaits! We will explore a fun and developmentally appropriate art project designed for children 2 and 3 years of age. You and your child will have a chance to engage with our Art Specialist as we introduce your child to the world of art at JCDS.

¡Bienvenidos! We invite you and your child to join our Spanish Specialist for an introduction to the Spanish language and culture. Research shows that language acquisition is most effective when introduced at a young age and this is why it is an important part of the JCDS curriculum.

Stretch your imagination - and your body! Come enjoy a different spin on storytime with your child. Join our Literacy Specialist as she teaches your child (and you!) basic yoga practices along with songs and stories.
